JBL Speaker Value

Hi guys, just wanted to know a good price to pay for these speakers.
JBL G-400 (he wants $200 or best offer)
JBL D-38 (he wants $150 or best offer)
They look to be in great shape and the seller says they work great. Want to know what they are worth before I contact him. I think that the prices are too high since they don't seem to be that sought after. Thanks.

As far as Value I never heard of them so I wouldn't consider them but hey that's just me:)

Not sure if I totally agree with this. If you ask me, if it says OBO and you want them but you only think they are worth 50% of the listing price then offer that. If you end up having the highest offer, and the guy accepts, then lucky for you, and if not you have to keep looking. There is no harm in an offer.

As for what they are worth. Look in these threads. They talk about how good they are.

Honestly I'd say they could be nearly ten-times too high, but that's just how I value them. Are you sure he didn't misplace the decimal point? :nono:

Some people think anything marked jbl is worth selling for a lot of money. They see the prices on some of the vintage stuff, and they assume their speakers are worth just as much.
