Jbls or Pioneer??

So, I have relocated to a new house, with an unfortunately, smaller "Stan Cave". I have to choose one pair of speakers, not two as in my previous cave. I would like some opinions on which configuration to set up. I have a pair of JBL 88p's or Pioneer CSA-700's. Which would you choose? Also, push them with a Lafayette 3030 or an MCS 3245, pics below. Thanks for your thoughts.

Having heard neither nor your gear I think you are in the best position to decide. Try one set for a week than the other, keep switching till you no longer want to switch, you will have your answer.

I would guess the JBLs would sound better, having at least heard some Pioneer CS series. But I haven't heard either of those specific models. I'd also go with the MCS because it looks gorgeous and I love meters. However, experiment and see what you like.

This was my first thought, too. The second was that since I've heard neither I hold no strong opinion regarding the first.
