Bought an amp from him around Christmas - he shipped it cross country for me. We played it quite a bit but seemed to be somehow lacking in highs and some oddness in the mids.
I wrote Mark and he was just heading off for a lifetime vacation cruise (very jealous!) but said he'd get back when he returned.
While he was away I tried a bit of troubleshooting ... swapped in some new input tubes, better, but still ... off.
On his return, no problem. Shipped the amp back and on receiving it, he quickly refunded the purchase price.
He poked in it a bit and found some issues (a joint came loose during shipping) and resolved them,
then refunded my shipping fees both ways. That's a full refund of all my fees.
I told him it was over and above - he says its just the way it should be.
Can't argue with that, but such quality is rare these days - he is a quite honourable guy and I'd do a deal with him again in a heartbeat.
