Jerry Reed passed away, age 71

I used to watch The Bill Dance fishing show just about every Sunday afternoon; and my favorite episode ever featured Jerry Reed and Jerry Clower fishing together with Bill. I don't know when I've laughed any harder. At one point Jerry Clower turned to Jerry Reed in that overfilled little bass boat and said; "Well everybody knows life ain't nuthin' but a bowl full of Jerrys!"

Now both of them are gone - Rest in peace Mr. Reed.

My dad loved Jerry Reed, and I got to hear him a lot growing up.I picked up a cool album recently.I think its called "Chet Atkins picks on Jerry Reed",or something like that.
Another fine musician gone.
