Jico SAS Returns

The Jico SAS is back for sale, in boron, sapphire or ruby (as well as zirconium) cantilever variants for selected cartridge brands (Victor/JVC and Shure are two I checked which have them) https://www.jico-stylus.com/neosas.php .:bigok: Surprisingly, the boron ones are the cheapest.

Among other brands with SAS stylus replacements are AIWA (Technics-made cartridge), Denon (MM’s), National Panasonic/Technics, Pioneer and Sony.

I saw it posted on the VE forum, which was how I knew! Sadly, they still don’t have SAS styli for ADC, AT, Pickering or Stanton cartridges.:dunno:

I see the announcement, but nothing on what actual product they will have.

I ordered a boron N95HE SAS yesterday and got a notice today that it will ship next Tuesday.

JICO even has a SAS for the Shure M55 which can be used of course with the M44 as well. I would love to hear that combo !

Up on the top right of the Jico home page, there's a search box, and if you put SAS in the box, it comes back with all the SAS stylus replacements they have. They've mainly concentrated on Shure and Technics, with a few from several other manufacturers like Denon, Pioneer and Sony.

AT or Namiki may have an agreement with them not to make them for AT cartridges, seeing that they still supply genuine ML styli for some of their better models, or it may be that Jico know some of the genuine ML styli will perform better, so haven't bothered. They certainly didn't make any Shure ones until Shure stopped making their MR styli about 15 years ago.
