I just got my Thorens TD-124 from John yesterday. He posted this one for sale here on AK and luckily I was the first in line. It's in great shape and made it to me in one piece yeah! Not only did John sell this one at a killer price he also drove it to AK member WhiteSE, aka Jack, so that Jack could pack it up and ship it to me. I will post a separate acknowledgement on this good deed. All I can say is I would not hesitate to do another transaction with John. This was a first class transaction all the way. Thank you. :thmbsp:

I had very little to do with the transaction other than serving as the middle man.

Here are the people that actually did something:
GordonW - Gordon got the Thorens TD-124 to its current condition and then sold it to me.

WhiteSE - Jack actually drove to Atlanta from south Georgia (a 8+ hour drive round trip) and picked it up along with some other gear and vinyl. I was supposed to meet him in Macon the week before but snow prevented that for happening. Jack also did all the packing and shipping.

All I did was take the money

Wow, I did not realize Jack drove down to pick it up. Now I really feel indebted to him.

Also thank Walker for being a middle man also....!! you could have had a Thorens if you played it cool!!...LOL
