Just picked up a 9090 DB

Just got lucky, and bought a good condition, working 9090 DB. Everything seems to be good, after running it hard with one pair of Kenwood KL 888D's for about three hours. I've only collected Kenwood stuff, for the most part, but @ $175.00, I thought I would give this Sansui a try. My best other reciever is my Kenwood Eleven III, and I don't think the 9090 will be replaceing that any time soon, but the Sansui is pretty nice, and I do ike some of the features it has that the Kenwood does not.

I had a Kenwood Eleven gx and I preferred the 9090db.Nice pickup though.

I have a 9090DB that has only had the main power amp repaired and caped and use it all the time.I use it a lot listening to FM and it is one fantastic receiver.I know I will never sell it.I also have a Pioneer1250 that has had complete restore and the Sansui is almost as good as it.ASansui is fine receiver to own and listen to.I don't think you can go wrong having one to listen to.They are a different sound than Pioneer and to me it all depends on what type music I am listening to .
