We just returned from the Bay Area where we spent Christmas and New Year. I love it up there - there is always a lot to do. One thing I enjoy is going to the record stores - there are two good ones in Berkeley (Amoeba and Rasputin [who also has a store in Concord]), Rasputin off Market, Amoeba at Haight-Ashbury, and Grooves off of the Hwy-101 are all favorites.
With the few records we get, we also try to pick some souvenirs from the record stores - shirts, caps, that sort of thing. This time, we also got some stickers at Amoeba - too bad the kids were getting exceedingly creative with them when we got home. :nono:

The ulterior motive for making this otherwise complete waste-of-time and useless post is to celebrate getting to 4,000 posts on AK!
