Those are very sensitive speakers and you could drive them with a flea watt tube amp and get as much volume as you need.If you become a subscriber to the forum you'll have access to Barter town.There is good deals to be had there and from people you can trust.

I definitely will become a forum subscriber ive been lurking this forum for a couple weeks now... And most of the users seem more calm and informative than other places I've been on.

Speaking of powered Subwoofers I kinda made my own from a 200w plate amp and a W7AE 13.5 I had laying around it actually sounds very swell along with my system.

You will fit right in here, many of us like to tinker and mod, besides just fixing things.

After getting the appropriate player for your music - CD/DVD, turntable, streaming box, iPod, or whatever, it's good to spend a some time getting used to what you have. After a few days or weeks, you'll start to understand what it does well, and also what it doesn't do as well as you wish it could.

This is very sage advice that bears repeating--if you choose to change something, or try something different (which I encourage)--change ONE thing at a time, so you know what THAT change made (if any). If you use the "shotgun" approach and change a bunch of things at once, you have no idea of what happened and why, for better or worse.

Also, disregard anyone telling you what "reference" recordings you should use to audition gear/speakers. Audition with what YOU know. It may not be perfectly recorded or known for superior engineering, but it is what YOU listen to on a daily basis and something that you are familiar with. I can set up a system and dig out a couple half-speed master recordings and blow you away with the sound--and then you take all the stuff home and throw on your favorite song and it may sound like ass. ALWAYS bring your own music to audition anything. Only YOU know what YOU like.
