Well my L75 turned up the other day and no time has been wasted drilling the top plate for my new ADC lmf2 carbon fibre arm and fitting a composite rubber/steel arm pad above and below the top plate as well as relubing and regreasing, and earthing the motor. Now I just need the monster plinth my Carpenter is crafting to be finally finished, fit the isolation feet, fit the rubber top plate isolation pads and arm/cart and then listen to my new baby. God it's hard being patient!

One thing I learned in the watch hobby is... Patience, Patience, Patience. There were a couple watches I had that I was in from the beginning. From the drawings all the way through to the watch arriving at my home. You have to have patience. In watches, there were delays all the time... something wrong with the case, the dial or hands were wrong, etc.

This also relates to the audio hobby, especially when you're having work done on your turntable. I am having a turntable built for me, and I must wait as well. However, when it is completed, I will be enjoying the sweet music it will be playing.

I know how hard it can be to have patience. They say patience is a virtue, but I guarantee the guy who penned the phrase didn't have anything built for him. :music:
