Hey everyone there's a JVC 4VR-5446 receiver up for sale locally for $70. Listing says it was recently serviced and appears to be in good cosmetic condition.
After a little digging I see it is quadraphonic. I do have 2 pairs of speakers Pioneer s910 and pioneer cs303.
I have a Technics SL L25 with an audi technica 3003.
Am I right in thinking if I wanted to fully utilize this receiver I would need a different turntable?
Curious if this would be a good deal for this receiver and what I would likely need to do to make the most of the quadraphonic stereo. Without quad records what would be the audible difference if any?

wasnt aware it would be pushing that many watts in stereo. Is there any issue's running it solely in stereo instead of quad?
Picking it up later today for $50
