JVC AX-435 vs Yamaha AX-470

I'm trying to decide which among these two amps is better. The JVC is part of the Super-A series, so I know that it's a Class-A amplifier. On the other hand, I cannot find much info regarding the Yamaha. In your opinion which is the better amp?

Probably both fine if they are working in spec. They are getting up there in age and could be gone through to check for out of tolerance components.

Realy hard to tell. Obvious differences are, that the pre-amp section of the JVC is conventional, although only the second tape-loop sports true monitoring, while the pre-amp section of the Yamaha is a (true) record-selector design - and that the Yamaha sports remote control, while the JVC doesn't. Well, and from the service manuals one can see, that the JVC uses an electronic switch for input selection, while the Yamaha uses a motorised, regular (= electromechanical) switch - as well as that the phono stage of the JVC would appear a bit more nifty, using a FET miror in combination with an opamp, while the phono stage of the Yamaha merely uses an opamp.
