Hi, I'm looking for opinions regarding these two amps.
I already own the Sony STR-6120, but it recently stopped working (probably due to a burnt transistor). I don't have the skills to repair it, so I was thinking of eventually giving it to a professional down the line to fix it. Since the audio from my TV runs throught a digital optical output, I was looking into upgrading my setup by buying a newer amp with digital inputs. After searching for a bit I was intrigued by the JVC AX-Z1010 TN. There is little information online regarding this amp, but from what I can understand it sounds great and has the added benefit of having a remote. Do you think the JVC is an upgrade compared to the Sony? Is 550€ a good price for this amp or should I just stick with the Sony and repair it immediately?
