JVC JL-A40 Lubrication

Hello- Anyone have suggestions on lubricating the spindle or the motor of a JVC JL-A40. Been searching off and on all day and not finding info specific to the A40. Some postings on the JVC JL-A20, and some other JVC models, but the photos and directions don't seem to match what I am seeing with the platter off and with the unit upside down. I have the bottom off...things seem sealed tight. I don't want to pull on the spindle from the top, unless I know it is the right way to do it. Everything is working OK, so perhaps I should let well enough alone. Return arm function works fine as does the elevator mechanism to drop the tonearm when using the cueing level...slow, but rather have it slow than too fast. Thanks! Steve

Figured it out. No info in service manual...access from bottom. Turned out, not dirty at all, cleaned with alcohol then relubed with bearing oil.
