JVC JL-F30 on the bench...

I am working on this very nice JVC! Frozen spindle. Has very good looking stylus and Shure cart. Belt has long melted and gone away. The cold weather left it stiff, easier to clean up.

Once you get it working...

These respond very well to having the plinth/case filled with Plasti-Clay/Plasticine (non hardening modelling clay, oil-clay, many proprietary names for it, used in most kindergardens, and available at most toy stores!)

I used to have a JL-A15, belt drive synchronous auto return that was a rung or two down the ladder from your JL-F30. It was quite a nice table!

Thanks,

The motor in this is massive, I like the build on it. Need to finish it today.
