Mine is missing the middle toggle switch. Any ideas on how to replace, install and where the part or silimar might be found? Thanks, Steven

It appears you just missing the handle for the switch, not the switch proper. You could install a non matching handle, search high and low for a matching one, including buying a parts machine, or just live with moving the switch with your finger.

In the boombox world a lot of knobs are missing, you can do a silicone mold and make your own. I think I've seen small kits at the hobby store for under 20 bones.

There's a few companies on line that sell the equipment.

You are correct, it is the handle for the switch. I did not really know what to call it. I tried asking ebay sellers who were advertising the unit for parts in they would like to make some $ just selling me the 'switch' AKA as handle. NO luck, so far. Same offer is available here if anyone would like to take me up on it?

Hmmm... this one looks very similar. Maybe it will work? It doesn't show the back side so I can't tell if it will fit you switch shaft. Maybe contact the seller?

There is a slight difference in the raised band toward the back of the knob.

WOW, what a find VERY impressed and so terribly kind of you to be so helpful. I will absolutley purchase this. I would have to guess these knobs/handles are glued in place? Or do you know? Anyone else who knows, pls chime in and again thans so much Dankik!! Steven

They are typically a friction fit between the slot on the knob and flat shaft on the switch. Check to make sure the size of the knob and slot to make sure it is compatible with yours since it is a Sony knob. It actually looks like it might be a bit shorter than the original. Check length.
