Dear Audiokarma:
I have a TT-71 with touchpad problems. One have to have moist fingers to get them to react, and as soon as you remove the finger the platter stops.
I have replaced a lot of components around the touch circuit (according to SM):
D813/ 814, X827/ 828, PSU caps, C815, C812/ 814. the touchpads are of course cleaned thoroughly.
Resistors after touchpads (R876-880) are measured and are correct. All wires from pads to PCB are also measured and are good.
After component replacement, I can hold my finger on 33 and touch 45, and it starts and keeps running. Same the other way, hold 45 and touch 33 and it keeps running. It´s difficult to stop it, and one have to touch the pads randomly, and it doesn´t start every time.
My guess is, as this is a very sensitive circuit, that there are resistance problems somewhere, but can´t figure out where.
Anyone with experience here?
Thank you in advance.
