JVC QL-Y3F Counterweight & Hinges

I'm looking to find a counterweight for the JVC QL-Y3F turntable, or at lease a replacement counterweight, as well as a pair of hinges.

I have a QL-F4, and was wondering if the counterweight would work?

Anyone have a source for counterweights and hinges, or knows whether or not the QL-F4 counterweight would work.

The Technics SL-1200 counterweight (readily available online for purchase, I just got one delivered for $15) fits the JVC QL-Y3F tonearm PERFECTLY! (JVC and Technics were both part of the Matsushita Company back in the days that the Y3F and SL-1200 were produced.)

Based on your post (also looking for hinges) and your location...hmmmmm....I'm guessing I'm in possession of the table for which you were seeking a counterweight & hinges, probably before wanting to commit to buying the table. (I bought a QL-Y3F off Craigslist from a guy in Fort Lee, NJ for $75 last week that was missing the counterweight and hinges. Same table for which you posed the above questions I'm guessing.) But maybe not, & so the info that the Technics SL-1200 counterweight is a perfect fit for the JVC QL-Y3F may still be useful to you. Peace.
