JVC r-x370v lamp

Simple problem really, just need specs.

Manual seems to not exist.
Anywhere.
Including the factory.

The tuner on my r-x370v receiver will not light up. There is presently a 5mm "grain of wheat" led in there getting 15vdc, but not lighting up. BTW, this does not appear to be the original bulb.

Anybody know the current rating of the original bulb?

Thanks

might try looking at the model numbers one step above or below the r-x370v.

pardon the orange in the screenshots, i adjusted my browser/pdf viewers color scheme.

some voltages noted on the schematic.

obviously there are exterior cosmetic differences between the 370 and 350 but there might be enough interior similarities to be useful. gotta love reverse engineering due to lack of documentation, been there done that.

Thanks all, but this is definitely not a 12v fuse lamp.

I'm thinking my best path is to find a 5v source and run an led from that.

Any pictures of where the bulb goes? Is it possible it has been modified in the last 30 years?

It may have been incandescent. It may have been an LED.

It goes through a hole behind the AM / FM display. The hole has a grommet protecting the lamp and allow a 5mm lamp to squeeze in.
