Jvc rx-r75 computer controlled receiver

It's from 1990 and was originally sold as a complete rack unit, the Stylistic GX-8730CD. It'll do 110 watts per channel into an 8 ohm load. It retailed for roughly $800 in 1991. I have both the RX-R75 and RX-R76, identical units except for the remote control. Here is the service manual and specs for the unit: https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/jvc/rx-r75.shtml
PLEASE NOTE: If you have this receiver you need to clip the following zener diodes out of circuit, D812 and D815. These will cause problems when the backlight for the power meter burns out. Just take a pair of scissors and cut them out. What happens if you don't is when the power meter backlight burns out, the zener diodes will overheat and burn the board and short, resulting in the unit going into protection and no sound. Cut them out before it's too late.

The original rack consisted of the following:
CD Player: XL-V75
Tape deck: TD-W73
Speakers: SP-75
Rack cabinet: RK-75

I know I'm bumping a forum over a decade later, but for completion and for anyone stumbling across this forum they can be informed of vintage gear. :)
Cheers!
