KA-7100 Speaker Relay take so long to click.

Hello everyone. I recently picked up a Kenwood KA-7100 and it sounds fantastic, but the relay takes roughly 45 seconds to kick in. Is this normal behavior? If not, where should I begin troubleshooting? I'm relatively new to vintage audio repair, so any advice is appreciated!
The previous owner stated that a new relay was installed and some capacitors and resistors have been replaced. That's all I know.

Mike, if you need to order parts (say you set bias and DC offset, ... and protection relay still takes 45 seconds to close) I'd suggest some power supply heat sinks and 1W 100R resistors. power supply runs hot.

I have a thread that documents this and I'm sure there are others. See resto sticky or ask a question.

if you get stuck, verify voltages pre schematic. I think Kenwood does a pretty good job on their service manuals.
