KA7300 power switch

ya, I know these are unobtanium but I have to ask. My KA7300 power switch finally took a dump, using a switched cord leaving the power switch in the on position works fine, but I'm thinking of selling the amp and would like the switch working.

So I'm looking for either a replacement, or info on other Kenwood amps that used the same switch I could purchase as a donor amp, preferably one that's cheaper than the 7300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the switch still toggles fine, as in not broken, you can just move the two wires and the safety cap straight over to the other side of the divider and utilize the unused contacts. It's a free fix.

the switch still toggles, but apparently one contact on the other side was no good, my tech actually flipped the contacts inside to utilize the other side of the metal but it only worked for a short while.

Other switches from the same series might work, but no experience with them - KA-3500,5500,8300. Possibly KT-7300/8300 also.

If you plug ALPS TV-5 ON/ON 6-Pin Toggle Power Switch into ebay, the guts of that switch can be swapped onto your existing toggle assembly. No affiliation. I have done that swap several times.

I've ordered the switch recommended by gort69, I'll report back after it's here how it went.
