Kabuki finally makes it to Ebay

Earlsays, I think there must have been an engineer or two working for Sansui that agrees with you. I admit, I really like my SP-3500's too.

The SP-3500 was one on Sansui's better kabuki efforts. I think it's better than any of their SP-X series.

Kabuki indicates speakers that have gone what is considered over the top for numbers of drivers. 1, 2, or 3 drivers seems to be the accepted numbers for "Normal" speakers, but when you have 5 like the last link, its hard imagine decent imaging, and the crossover circuit just has to be an entertainment to itself. Most people don't consider more than three to be manageable, based on the difficulty managing Three.

I guess my main speakers must be totally out of control then.:D

72 tweeters, 36 mids and 4 18" woofers.:smoke:

Best,

AR-9. 4 way, 5 driver system that'll image your ass into next week.
Yes, AR via Teledyne had access to one of the most advanced R&D labs in the world at the time.
I've always sworn that Japanese speaker engineers are tone deaf. No offense meant if there are any Japanese speaker desingers in the audience.
