Kama scores again....I think

This week's thrift store rounds turned up a pair of Infinity Qb speakers. They've got them funky tweeters in 'em, so I didn't mind paying a bit more for them. Was $40 too much?

Sound is great, although I thought I heard a very very slight buzz in one of the tweeters on one song on my Dido CD.....further testing is needed. Cabinets are in nice shape as well as the covers......but I have no idea what the hell I'm gonna do with em

Great find. the EMIT tweeters are quick, crisp and clear. i think you will like them.

I found my pair of Qb's at a thrift last year (er, a year ago).
Very nice speaker system, sounds great.

Latest development

The slight buzz in the one Emit tweeter was because of a bad connection of one of the fuses at the back of the speaker. Apparently the fuse only affects that tweeter, and had a bad connection as the fuse was damn near falling out of the socket.

My ears are very slowly stopping to ring from sitting with my ear a few inches from one of the tweeters trying to detect a problem. Lesson learned on that one!

Grump, better strike a deal with me soon.....I need these damn things like a hole in the head but I'm starting to really like em
