Keeping the Music Flowing: Dealing with App Clutter and Interruptions

Hello everyone,

For those of you who keep a continuous background stream running during your daily routine or deep focus sessions, how do you deal with the massive interface clutter on modern mobile clients?

I feel like standard music applications are shifting too far away from pure audio playback cramming in social features, constant algorithmic recommendations, and background processes that actively drain mobile performance. I've been experimenting with minimal, custom software adjustments just to keep a lightweight audio stream running without the constant UI interruptions.

Do you guys prefer minimalist players for your portable audio, or do you just tolerate the bloatware of modern mainstream platforms for the sake of convenience?

the apps I run on a phone or iPad, Swiss Classical and Swiss Jazz do not offer any social media, news, or commercials. They just update the playlist as they progress through it, along with a DJ that tells of the tracks being played. Radio Garden also is BS free.

You get what you PAY for. The modern service economy, maximizes their return with ads and ever increasing privilege to use their services. Finance capitalism. So, maybe you can find an obscure service that may or may not have the music you desire without these interruptions or, or, start collecting the music you enjoy to use at your discretion whenever you choose with a little physical interruption & inconvenience without frigging ads. Are there storage mediums that your music can be transferred on to make it portable? Our whole culture and societies are inundated with this monetized, monopolized capture of revenue streams. Go against the norm.
