They will probably require some work to get in top shape. The ferrofluid tweeters may need to be rebuilt. And re-foaming these units is a bit of a task.
I was always a sucker for the higher end KEF products. My son is almost ready to upgrade from the AR speakers I started him off with. So the timing is perfect, so long as I don't enjoy them too much when they are refurbished.

They are an awesome speaker and for that price, as Raynald said, they were giving them away. :yes:
