Bought a used midrange unit to replace a wore down mid range unit on my biwired KEF 104/2 speakers. The upper mid surround has a cut/damage as seen on attached pictures. As far as I could research, these midrange drivers are unreplaceable? ( Correct me if I'm wrong). Will glueing this with proper flexible adhesive be a solution to prevent further damage? are there any options to fix this? Or Am I in a rut and just return it( ebay transaction) thanks.

If the damage was not disclosed in the ebay ad, I'd return it and wait for one in better condition to show up.

The surround is damaged , I believe it can be fixed .

Good luck with replacing the driver. KEF themselves ended in refusing to do it since in aftersales service because of complexity and difficulties involved : the suspension is glued to the cabinet and this speaker has no basket. KEF rather supplied the whole midrange enclosure fully equipped.
100% this; if you bought a unit that was described as being in good condition you shouldn't have to try to make repairs. Return it.
