KEF 105.1 input resistance check

I've had custody of the subject speakers for several years and they've always played well without problems. They do however present 35 ohms to my multimeter when resistance checking. I've done some research and from the schematics I've been able to find the 35 ohms is entirely compatible with my results. AI told me at one point that they should present 6.7 - 7.2 ohms but when I asked my question differently AI gave me an answer that confirmed my own findings. Anyone else measured KEF 105.1s?

Yep, that's it. Remeasured carefully I get 34.4 ohms (both speakers). My R1 is 33 plus 1.4 in L1. Apparently it is KEFs' speaker protection method to keep high DC fault voltages from damaging the woofers. The other drivers are fuse protected.
