KEF 105.4 intermittent short

Hey Gang
One of my 105.4s has an intermittent short and I need some advice. The short happens when rotating the mid/tweeter and causes the mid/tweeter to go out. The woofers are not affected. I assume there is a short in the wire going from the crossover to the mid:tweeter. Has anyone else experienced this?
