KEF 107, B250 Woofer

Hi All,

I'm in desperate need of a KEF B250 woofer. If anyone has any leads, it would be most appreciated. And on the same note, what are everyone's thoughts on fair value for one, if available? (not including shipping or packing)

Are you missing one or just have one with a smoked voice coil.

Midwest Speaker Repair rebuilt one for me. I had planned on doing it myself but it was easier for them to do it while I was travelling.

If you can find one, and is asking $100 for it blown... it is a foot in the door to get your 107's back up running again.

The top woofer in the left box suffered catastrophic failure. The magnet assembly broke into two pieces (the former separated from the ferrite magnet, the magnet then slipped and crushed the voice coil).
Midwest is a viable option I've considered. If I cant source a decent B250, that's probably the road I'll take.

There were 2 pairs (4 total) of B250s listed on the e auction site last night. Both pairs require refoaming.
