KEF K104 Blown Driver

Hi. One of my KEFs is making a farting noise when pushed. Any KEF fans know how to proceed. I've gotten crickets from KEF America. Orange County and Madisound don't have the drivers, so maybe repair is my only option. I'm a long-time hifi lover with limited tech skills--perhaps this is the time to learn. Thanks so much for any help.

Call Sound Ideas in Gainesville, Florida. They've restored dozens of KEF Reference series speakers and should be able to help you diagnose and fix your speakers. PM me if you need contact info.

For the record I have no affiliation with Sound Ideas, just a long-time satisfied customer.

Thanks, T. Cool looking shop. I'll call them first thing Monday. Much appreciated--Paul

Rats, T. Nothing Sound Ideas can do. KEF doesn't support the K line, and parts aren't available that will suit that coil. Thanks for introducing me to a cool shop, though. Great service, I can tell. Regards--Paul

Simply Speakers, see advertisers, saved my blown KEF 104 tweeters.
They are great guys.
