KEF Q35

I was given a set of KEF Q35 tower speakers and would like to hook them up to see how they sound. I'm a little confused on how to best hook them up since they have two positive and two negative terminals... one each for HF & LF (I'm assuming that's for high frequency and low frequency?).
I currently have a Sony STR-DH190 with the the Sony SS-C53 tower speakers...

The 2 sets of terminals are for the purpose of bi wiring, or bi amping and, from the factory, would have come with metal links to connect the 2 positives and 2 negatives. If the links are still there, simply connect your speaker wires to either of the +/- terminals. If the links are missing, you can use a short length of speaker wire (or any other decent sized wire) to connect them together.
 
Have the links, hooked them up... not impressed at all. But it probably has to deal with my head unit, most likely needs more power.
Perhaps once I finish my Sansui 2000x, I can add an amp and they'll perform better?
