Yes a touch over priced indeed. I paid $100 for my pair. Then had them restored.

Was it not the C2 that had the balance problem? Never had an issue with the C1.

I put my C-1, M-1, and tuner on consignment, at the music store I work at part time, for $299. Been a couple months and no bites. I must be overpriced. Thinking about dropping it to $225 and see what happens.

Yup, a bit high. For the last year the mean ebay cost (high bid plus shipping) for a fully functional C-1 has run a bit over $137.

I have both pieces - purchased new.
Never touched....no issues and perform wonderfully.
...but I admit no idea of value!
