Kenwood KA-7002 amp board picture request

MBuras

Restoration is an Addiction
Good morning fellow AK'ers. It's a long shot but hoping someone out there might have an early model KA-7002 they could post close up pics of the amp board and maybe the relay wiring for bonus points. I have one that someone has been into. Some parts were missing and others have been changed but I can't seem to reconcile everything with the schematic and parts list. Most but not all.

The model number of my amp board is X07-0027-00 which i believe is the earliest version. Has a separate board for protection circuit. And if I understand correctly the relay on the early version won't engage unless going into protection. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Many thanks,
Mike

P.S. Extra, extra bonus to anyone that knows what voltages I should be seeing on the amp section. The schematic is unhelpful in this regard.

when I looked at the schematic, I think the collector voltages should be around +-45vdc.

from your EE101 days (or google) you know Vdc=Vac * 1.41 (no load, no loss, ...). 33 * 1.41 = 46Vdc. You know with modern input voltages, the 33vac might be a little higher. You also know the C305/C306 are 75v caps. So the amp board B+/B- is less.

according to the schematic, B+/B- is +/- 43v.

It took a while, but it is on the protection circuit.

Thanks for finding that @rickl . I was so busy looking at the first page schematic I never saw the protection info on the second page.
