That is incorrect. The 7100 does have dual supplies and even says so right on the front plate. If you care to read a schematic it's plain to see. Where people are confused is that the 7100 packages them in a single transformer case as does the 6100.

In the 7100 each channel is provided its own B+ and B-, that's a dual supply, nothing more, nothing less. Say what you will about the superiority of other designs, but to say the 7100 isn't dual supply (as I quoted you) is factually inaccurate, thus my previous post.

Everything in the KA71000 P/S is dual but the PT primary. I agree two separate PTs would be sexier, but practically speaking, we're in the realm of semantics here.

7100 is touted to have one of the best phono stages they built. They can still be had for a bargain price and will produce 70 watts 24-7
I just did a barter trading a ka-7100 and kt-615 for a retro on my ka-9600. I know whom ever winds up owning the components will be very happy. I have several systems and that was the one that brought my 9600 back to life. Win win deal☺

Having owned both of these, plus many other Kenny integrated amps you really can't go wrong with either, but the 7300 really is something special.
Looking inside as compared with the 7100, the clean architectural layout of the 7300's true dual mono design is readily apparent.
