Kenwood KD-2055 turntable -- a good deal?

Hey! So there's a Kenwood KD-2055 turntable for sale in my area. The seller wants $200.

This is the info they provide:

Cover is scratched but the turntable plays well . new belt, lubed, cartridge and needle in good condition.

I asked what the cartridge is and he said an Audio technica AT 10EP. (I tried to look that up but couldn't find too much info).

Is this an ok deal? Would it be worth it to pick it up? Or better stump up for a new belt drive turntable (Project, Rega or Orbit)?

Ebay says...you can do better on price. Local sale should be 100-125.

that's actually a decent price if in good condition, a belt drive version of The Rock KD 550.
