price is a bit high. I have heard good things about these speakers.

I'd plunk down $100 for them if they were around me. Wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but decent. Especially up in the are like these show in the ad. I had a pair I bought brand new in 1977 I believe and kept for 3 years. All rock and jazz fusion. Did great for parties.

I've got the 555's and they're quite good party speakers.
