I have a three legged Kenwood KP-5022A. Hooked up to a Bellari VP130 Phono Preamp, then into my most expensive piece of equipment Khozmo 3 input rca switch, then into two mono Schiit Rekkr amps, then into a pair of Beovox S45-2.
My complaint is that the volume is too low. I can't tell if the Bellari or the Rekkrs are too weak. Volume when switched to my DAC channel goes very loud.
I don't know what kind of audio technics red stylus it has, I balanced the arm from the old instructions book and everything seems to be running really good.
I suspect the Bellari VP130 is not a very good phono preamp. I am looking for the best, cheapest possible, phono preamp. My entire setup is second hand goodwill used dirt cheap.
Any GO TO recommendations for Phono Preamp that plays well with what I got? Tubes are cool, but beggars can't be choosers.
Also, I can't find a fourth leg anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find a stock insulated foot for the KP-5022A?
I appreciate the help!
