Kenwood KR-5010 power switch.

Does anyone know where I can find an alps(or generic) replacement for the power switch in this unit?

I cannot seem to find any at mouser or even alp's site.

This is the model number: TV-5 SDRIR 908

I couldn't bring myself to solder over the connections.:tears:

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Alex -- You can easily get a TOTL 8010 or 8050 for just a bit more, so don't sweat it! :yes:

Is this one of those rectangular gray switches that attaches to the back of the speaker selector?

On my KR5030, I took the little grey box apart, filed the contacts (they were burnt), reassembled and it has worked fine -- but then I've run it off of a power strip ever since.
