Preamble: about this matter, I've already added a post inside the existing thread "Help with Kenwood Receivers (KR-4070 & KR-5030)" but maybe my questions remained a little bit hidden. I suppose that a new dedicated thread will be more visible: sorry for the duplicate
My problem: I'm restoring a KR-5030 Kenwood receiver. I've got a big help from the thread mentioned above, so now I'm able to listen to its pleasant voice.
Nevertheless, I still have some almost cosmetic troubles about the lamps. More in detail:
- some indicators (FM, Phono and AUX ) do not work anymore, but I'm not able to find them here in Italy: which type have I to look for (voltage, current, code and so on) ? Where could I buy them from ?
- signal and tuning meters are not illuminated at all, as none lamp is currently fitted. After a quick search, I've discovered two white unused (cut) wires, so I suppose that a lamp was originally foreseen (together with its holder) exactly between the two instruments. Is it so? Which kind of lamp is it? Is it a special holder ?
- does anyone have the service manual, or at least some schematics / helping pictures ?
Thank you very much in advance for your warm attention
See you soon, Paolo
