Hello AK members, I have a vintage Kenwood KR 5200 receiver that was given to me. I measured DC offset at both speaker channels 65mv and 85 mv respectively. I found a website to download the schematics. Can someone help me regarding other parts that I need to replace ie, diodes, resistors. I know the power transistors will probably need replacing. Does any one know if the electonic parts to replace are still available or are there better parts that can be use/substitute. Thanks for helping me out.

You shouldn't have to replace the output transistors if they are not blown. Transistors on the driver board, perhaps. Otherwise, replacing the electrolytic capacitors is where I would start. Diodes and resistors if they are out of spec, otherwise, I'm not sure why you would need to replace them.

Is there a DC offset adjustment on the KR-5200?

If not, you may have to replace the differential input pair transistors in the amp stage.
Matched pairs.

Edit: Just took a look at the schematic. Looks like there is not a DC offset adjustment.
Those numbers aren't horrible, IMO.

I need to replace the driver transistors: 2SA743A & 2SC1212A. Does anybody know a cross reference for these transistors. I may also need to replace The power transistors 2SC1111. Has anyone know a cross reference that have good matches for these parts.

Why do you think you have to replace the drivers and outputs?

Looks like you can use On-semi MJ15001 for the output.
