Hi,

Can anyone help me find a service manual for a Kenwood KR 5330 receiver?

It has a buzz and the lights go dim when the receiver is first turned on . I need to find the problem and have it fixed.

Lights go dim? Like, the room lights? Yowie!

Sounds like there is a bucha current headed somewhere that it shouldn't in that sucker. The buzzing transformer is also an indication of excessive current draw. Check the fuses and see if they are the proper value. Almost sounds like one has been replaced with too large a value to hide another problem.

Not the room lights, just the lights on the receiver. It lasts for a few seconds and goes away.

maybe its the power switch arcing. unplug it jump the power switch to verify.
