Kenwood KR-710 No Audio Output Speakers A

I have a Kenwood KR-710 that has audio output from both left and right on Speakers B setting but no audio from left and right on Speaker A setting. I would like to ask for anyone's suggestion/expertise in rectifying this issue. I have a basic knowledge of electronics repair but, as an amateur, I am always working on educating myself and would very much appreciate a little direction.

All features/functions with the exception of Speaker A outputs seem to work. Speaker A and B output ports cleaned with Deoxit5.

its not set on A+B is it? I had something that wouldn't work in that mode unless both sets of speakers were hooked up.

If its not that, likely a problem with the speaker switch. Possibly it failed internally. Have to dig up the schematic and confirm how it routes signal from the output of the amplifier to the speaker terminals. Likely whatever sits between the speaker A terminals and the amplifier output is bad.

It is separate Speaker A and B buttons. I will check it out the push button switch on Speaker A to make certain it is making contact and completing the circuit for audio output. Thank you so much for the prompt response.

Not familiar with this particular unit, but if the speaker switch is soldered to the circuit board, look for bad connections, something like this where you can see small rings around the bad solder joints.
