Kenwood KR-7400 tone amp capacitor values not matched with schematic

Hi all,

Working on fixing KR-7400 with non working amp ( finally can make it works and done recapping amp and power boards).

Going to the tone amp board, the schematic says 6.8uf bi-polar capacitors, but the board is populated by original 3.3uf bi-polar capacitors .

Any one has ideas?

Go with the values that are inside of your unit.

It's extremely common for changes to be made at the factory during production, without the service manual being updated to reflect changes.
