A friend asked me to service his Kenwood KR4010. It played but was real noisy so I knew it needed the usual De-Oxit treatment. I recapped the Power Supply section and had it sounding pretty good with one small problem. Sometimes the left channel sounded like a broken speaker. A little freeze spray would temporarily cure it until the next restart. As I was trying to pinpoint the defective component, I first checked the offset. Not bad but that's when I screwed it up. My probe accidently crossed TP 23 and TP24 which are the offset checkpoints, which blew f2 and IC3. I replaced the fuse and the IC which is a Darlington Amp. Now only the lamps come on. No relay click, etc. voltages seem crazy everywhere in the circuit. Somebody familiar with this unit probably knows exactly what to check, I don't. I'm more familiar with Sansui's. I have a schematic and service manual but sure could use some advice. Thanks
