Kenwood KR4140 vs Sherwood S7100

Hi guys- any thoughts on the sound of a Kenwood KR4140 vs Sherwood S7100?

Will one sound better than the other? I know I'll be happy with probably either one but will one be "the obvious choice?"

I'd love to hear you guys compare and contrast some old Kenwood vs old Sherwood.

Well, I have a KR-3130, and sold a S7100a.

So that should tell which I prefer. Of course, you are talking about two somewhat different models.

I would most likely take the Kenwood, but you would be well off with either.

Get 'em both! I only sold my Sherwood because someone I know needed a receiver.
 
Not familiar with the Kenwood model you list but do love the small Sherwood receivers for second systems. They are very nice sounding and musical and sound far more powerful than they are.
