Kenwood LS-1000 speakers

These look really interesting. The thing is, the LS-1000 on TVK is a three way, these are two way, but look to be of the same line. Does anyone know if these are Sigma drive? Anyone heard a pair? Might they be worth a listen at this price?

They look closer to the LS-100.

Asking too much by a factor of 2 in my opinion. Especially so, considering the tear in the surround as evidenced in the pic. Interesting method of venting the dust cap.
