Kenwood Model 11

Hello Karmanites,

I was a part of this community quite awhile ago. When I started moving around a lot for work for I let go of most of my vintage equipment except a bare minimum. Now retired, I'm getting back into it. I can't believe how much the prices have increased on vintage (70s) gear.

Just purchased a Kenwood Model 11 at auction and probably paid too much for it. The looks of this receiver embody everything I would want to see in a vintage receiver. Maybe be better looking than the Marantz 2330 I owned previously IMHO. I know that were at least 3 varieties of this receiver, a 60, 80 and 120 watt version. I don't know which one I have. Can anyone help identify it? Serial number is 510080. It is currently playing through a pair of very average Pioneer S-H253B-Ks and sounds amazeballs. Maybe the best sounding receiver I've owned to date.

Thanks!

I think I answered my own question. Mine is a Model Eleven II so it should be the 80 watt receiver. Buying it at auction you never know what your going to get and this one performs flawlessly. Super clean on the inside, probable been serviced. The right channel VU meter light is out so that will be deal with post haste!
