Kenwood Trio replacement speakers

howdy all,

I am looking for a source of replcement speakers for the Trio line that was in Kenwood speakers in the 70"s. I have a pair of KL-7080's with a couple of blown tweets
T14-0005-15, 30w max, 16 ohm, 21/4" cutout.
and a blown horn
T14-0011-05, 40w, 8 ohm, 3"x7"

I have checked the links to suppliers here, so any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This guy occasionally gets vintage Kenwood parts. Sometimes they used the same drivers in different models, which is something you'd have to be responsible for figuring out, not him. The guy is very much a vintage gearhead, though, imo.

I know this thread is 15 years old but if people are like I am, they probably still have these stored away hoping to some day find those drivers.
I've had a pair of tweeters and I think I have the mids as well, laying around with hundreds of loose drivers I've collected over the years.

I was just going to post them for sale locally and was hunting for info since they aren't a standard looking part by any means. Turns out they're ribbon type or at least Kenwood's version of a ribbon tweeter. Crossed at 16kHz seems kinda irrelevant since most people can't even hear much past 14kHz! I'm sure they did that to try and keep them from burning out quickly while still being able to rate them at some ridiculous high power rating that nobody would ever consider using. I think they could have made a much better speaker system had they, lowered the power rating and lowered the crossover point and used a sharper slope crossover rather than a 6db single cap.
