kg-4.2s mismatched woofers

I picked up a pair of kg4.2 two days ago at good will for a total of 8 dollars.
One woofer was locked up.
When I took them home and pulled them out the locked up woofer was a k-1001-k "kg5.2" the functioning one was the correct k-1005-k woofer.
Should I try repairing it or try to find a matching pair of woofers closest to the k-1005-k specs?
